Annarentia has been an integral part of the firm since 2010. Recently appointed a director Annarentia specialises in conveyancing and notarial work, as well as deceased estates - advising clients extensively on purchase and sale agreements, complex property transactions, personal and property servitudes, consequences of different marital regimes, and matters relating to wills and deceased estates.
Achieving her LL.B cum laude and receiving the award for the best LL.B academic average over her years of study at the North-West University, she knew that law was more than a study field – it is her passion. She furthered her studies in 2010 to become a conveyancer and notary public. In January 2017, Annarentia obtained a post graduate diploma in deceased estates at the University of South Africa. In the same year, she founded the firm’s Deceased Estates Department as she identified a close correlation with the field of property law, often with unforeseen benefits for the client due to her broad range of expertise. She has since managed to gradually grow the department to become a success within the firm with great prospects of expansion.
Understanding the emotional and financial impact of deceased estates, Annarentia approaches each new instruction with compassion, understanding and the necessary legal expertise to quickly and effectively finalise matters in order for the deceased’s loved ones to get the necessary closure. Previously working as a student facilitator at the North-West University and assisting on a pro-bono basis at the Small Claims Court, Potchefstroom, she was also able to contribute to her community.
Annarentia is passionate about education but believes that balance is key. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active with her husband and children as she believes the adage of a healthy body creates a healthy mind.
